ere are some pictures of the old roof. After 16 years, the 15 year tiles look ok in places and very beat up in others. The pine trees I used to have caused a lot of damage. The worst place was the dormered back part which is almost flat. Here, the rolled roofing is peeling away and leaking. The new way of doing such low pitch roofs is with ice\water membrane on the bottom and then using shingle tiles over it. If water or ice should back up and get under the tiles, the membrane will protect it from getting into the house.
